| Personal History | Early History Born in the year 1780 to a Human man named Lord Montgomery Bladestorm and his El'Aurian wife Lady Julia Bladestorm. Was educated at Eton till he was old enough to join the Royal Navy at the tender age of 17 as an Officer, serving aboard the HMS Enterprize. Working his way through the ranks and becoming the youngest person to be given the rank of Captain at the age or 28. When his father died in 1808, his mother told him the truth about his heritage and that his father had in fact been a Klingon who had been exiled from his homeworld of Q'onoS and had settled on Earth. Once on Earth he had altered his appearance to that of a human and had taken the name and title of the man that had given him a place to live. "Monty", as he liked to be known, was originally known as "Barak't". He was banished from his house for being dis-honourable in battle, a crime Barak't claims he never committed, and that he had been wrongfully accused. The crime in question was that he had giving schematics of all Klingon ships to the Romulans during one of the many wars between the two powers. The evidence against him was damming, as it was his security code that had been used to download the schematics. Barak't protested his innocence, and claimed he knew who the traitor was, and that he had evidence proving who it was. The only problem was that the person in question had powerful allies on the Council, and so to save throwing the empire into a civil war it was in no shape to fight. Barak't accepted his punishment and was banished from the homeworld and branded a traitor, thus damming his lineage for 3 generations. When Byron found this out, he desperately wanted to right this wrong, but couldn’t think of a way to do so. As back then, the idea of space travel was a thing of the imagination of the storytellers of the day. Thankfully for Byron, he realised that thanks to his being half El'Aurian, he had the ability to live on till such a time when space travel was a reality, with that in mind, he went back to the Navy and carried on with his life. Two years passed, with Byron becoming a decorated war hero, serving in many of the Royal Navy's most noteworthy battles, one of which was the Napoleonic War of 1806, which gave him the perfect excuse for the reason he had ridges on his forehead., ridges until the a year earlier had not been present. A year later, Byron met the woman who was to become his wife, at the May Ball of 1811. That women was Lady Jessica Spencer-Tramaine daughter of the Duke and Duchess Westminster who Byron and his mother had met during a May Ball in 1808, when Byron was a Lieutenant Commander serving as Second Officer aboard the HMS Enterprize. The attraction between the two of them was instant, and Byron, not being one to waste time, asked Jessica's father if he could have his permission to court her and hopefully later on, marry her with their blessing. Thankfully for Byron, his status and title guaranteed her parents blessing, as what politically minded parents of the time wouldn't love to have their daughter marry the youngest Naval Captain in history, not to mention the fact he was a decorated war hero. Byron and Jessica were married two years later in the summer of 1813, just before Byron was named British Ambassador to Japan. A position Byron welcomed with open arms, as it would allow his to improve his fighting skills and learn about a mysterious foreign culture, who until recently had been un-interested with the world outside their borders. During his time in Japan, he and Jessica had 4 children, 2 boys named Montgomery and Bartholomew, and 2 daughters named Victoria and Vanessa. The family remained in Japan for the next 20 years, until Byron was called back to service in the Royal Navy for the wars that followed. Byron remained in the Navy for a further 30 years, retiring at the age of 83, by this time both his sons were in his Majesty's service. Montgomery following in his father’s footsteps in joining the Navy, and Bartholomew joining the Army, both served with distinction and honour, being decorated a number of times for bravery, both also had families of their own. His daughters on the other hand had served with the King and Queen as Ladies in Waiting, and had both married military men and also had families of their own. By this time both he and Jessica were old and grey, an ability he had learned he had from his mother, allowing him to better blend in with society. Jessica died in the summer of 1863, with Byron faking his death a week later. This allowed him to re-appear 37 years later as the last descendant of the Bladestorm family, thus re-gaining his title of Lord and once again joining the Royal Navy, just in time for World War One. Byron served aboard the HMS Hood during this time, were he moved up the ranks quickly, being named Captain of the Hood again aged just 28 years old. He remained in the Navy until the year 1935, when he once again faked his own death, only to re-surface 4 years later, again as the last remaining descendant of the Bladestorm family, this time joining the Royal Air Force just in time for the break out of World War 2. Byron was one of the main young pilots the fought the German Luftwaffe over Britain and Europe and was part of the famed "Battle of Britain" serving with such famous fighter pilots as Squadron Leader Douglas Bader. Working his way up to the rank of Group Captain before transferring to the Royal Marines in 1955, 10 years after the end of the war. Working hard and showing potential he received specialist training in all areas, before faking his own death for a third time in 1972, only to re-surface in 1994, this time as a 16 year old school leaver, applying to join the Royal Navy as an Officer. Byron then spent the next 4 years as a Cadet, learning to become an Officer, before getting his first posting aboard the HMS Newcastle as a Midshipman. He then spent the next 30 year serving aboard the HMS Newcastle, working his way upto the rank of Captain, before transferring to the Royal Marines for a second time to serve in World War Three. This is where history loses him, the last recorded entry for him was just before the end of the war, where he and his Commando Group are recorded as "Missing in Action", followed at the end of the war as "Killed in Action", when a body said to have been his, was discovered in a prisoner of war camp at the end of the war. Byron did not re-surface until 2357 when he applied to join Starfleet Academy, this time as his true self, an El'Aurian/Klingon Hybrid. Academy Training Spending the next four years at the academy, before graduating at the Top of his Class as Valedictorian with Majors in Command, Security and Tactical, Advanced Tactical Warfare, Advanced Fighter Pilot Training, Covert Operations, Intelligence, Engineering, Field Medicine and Science, a record that still stands today. He was then giving a Field Promotion to the Rank of Captain, after Starfleet Command did a background check into his past, and discovered he had served in the Earth Forces from 1797 up to 2063, with both Honour and Distinction, gaining more medals than he had room for on his dress uniform. After the field promotion to Captain, Byron was giving command of the USS Jenova NCC-30808, a science vessel assigned to Delta Vega region. Starfleet Service He commanded the Jenova which was a Covert Intelligence Starship disguised as a Science Vessel for 3 Years, before be hand-picked to be the X.O. of the USS Gorkon NCC-40512 Excelsior Class, under the command of Vice Admiral Alynna Nechayev. During his time aboard the Gorkon, he took the opportunity to visit the Klingon homeworld to set the records straight and to pave the way into Sto-Vo-Kor for his father Barak't. This would not be an easy task, when he consulted Lieutenant Commander Worf, who himself had tried to restore his father’s honour. When he arrived on the Klingon homeworld, he searched out any of his father’s descendants. The last remaining was Captain Martok of the House of Martok, who when he heard of what Byron was doing, refused to see him, until Byron publicly challenged his honour, and a fight to the death was arranged. Now as we all know, the now Chancellor Martok, is not someone You challenge to a fight lightly. As he has proven many times, he is a formidable warrior, but Byron was confident of his ability and his fighting prowess, as he had been trained by the finest Warriors on Earth and held the title of “Master” in all forms of Earth based Hand to Hand and weapons combat. During the battle, Byron chose to use the Earth weapon known as the Samurai sword, to the ridicule of the Klingons, as they had never seen anything like it before, and were confident it wouldn’t stand a chance against a Bat’LetH. The battle went on for five hours, with both men gaining and losing the upper hand, with the fight changing from weapons to hand to hand and back again. Finally Byron was able to best the Captain by using his Judo skills and taking him down with a hip-toss, before applying a Wrestling submission hold to his arm, neck and back, known as the “Crippler Crossface”. Giving the General the option to submit rather than face death, as Byron did not want to kill him, he simply wanted his help to clear his father’s name. Which after praising him on his ability as a warrior and asking him if he could teach him some of the moves he used on him, agreed to help him. A month later, Byron’s father Barak’t was absolved of both the crime and his dis-honour, thus paving the way for his entrance into Sto-Vo-Kor, after which, Byron was formally accepted into the House of Martok, along with his father. Later that year the famous “Battle of Wolf 359” took place where Starfleet lost alot of good Men and Women, as-well as alot of starships. Byron and the USS Gorkon were one of the lucky few who survived the battle, only to be put in danger two years later during the second planned invasion by the Borg, this time by rogue Borg Drones under the control of the Android Lore. In 2370, Byron was again hand-picked by an Admiral to serve as his X.O. aboard the USS Akira under the command of Rear Admiral Kenneth Livingston. He was aboard the Akira in 2373 when the Borg once again tried to take Earth, during which the Akira was badly damaged and need major repairs. In the same year the USS Akira was one of the three ships sent to retrieve the experimental starship the USS Prometheus NX-59650. Byron led the away team that re-captured the Prometheus, and for his actions was awarded with command of her in 2374. He remained in command of the Prometheus for the next five years, carving out his own legacy, just as Captain James T Kirk had done aboard the USS Enterprise NCC-1701, a hundred of so years earlier. During which time, he and his crew were decorated on numerous occasions, which came to an end in 2379 the Prometheus had to go into drydock to receive her five year overhaul, at this point he and his crew were split up and reassigned to different parts of Starfleet. In later 2379 Byron was offered a teaching post at Starfleet Academy, Professor of Combat and Tactical Operations, a post he enjoyed for two years until he started to miss the joys of commanding a starship and the exhilaration of exploring space. Within six months of that decision he was back in the Captain's chair of the USS Falcon NCC-75926, Intrepid Class. Byron was happy in command of the Falcon as his adopted daughter Zorana had also just joined the crew as the Chief Medical Officer, who he hadn't see since he helped her get back into Starfleet after she resigned her commission to go in search of her brother. He remained in command of the Falcon until 2383 he was approached by the then Vice Admiral Xavier Stormbreaker about an idea Byron had about taking all the current fighter squadrons throughout Starfleet and creating a whole new division based on the Airforces of the 20th Century. Within 2 months of that meeting Starfleet's Starfighter Command was created with the now Air Chief Marshal Xavier Stormbreaker as its Division Head and Byron now ranked Group Captain as Division Deputy Head. Helped created the Advanced Fighter Tactics Training School or Top Gun and was the first to complete the course. Byron would later be replace a year later out of his own wishes by Air Marshal Marcus Van Basstin dropping Byron to a Fighter Group Commander in command of Omega Tactical Fighter Group which would include the 224th Tactical Fighter Squadron the "Grim Reapers". In early 2387 Byron was handpicked due to his extensive talents and qualifications to command of the USS Newcastle NCC-91928-A which was part of the Hazard Operations Division. He was later pulled from command of the Newcastle before it had even left spacedock, by Starfleet Intelligence for a Top Secret Mission which required his afore mentioned his extensive talents and qualifications. **THE REMAINDER OF THIS RECORD IS RESTRICTED TO OBSIDIAN BLACK CLEARANCE** Starfleet Academy Training Record Majors Majors in Command, Security and Tactical Engineering, Field Medicine and Science.
